ZESPRI GOLD Kiwifruit gelato

Ingredients

  • 1 ZESPRI GOLD Kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (extract)
  • 3/4 cup milk

Method

  1. Place the ZESPRI GOLD Kiwifruit and sugar into a food processor and blend, until smooth.
  2. Add the essence and the milk and continue pulsing until well mixed.
  3. Freeze in an electric ice-cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions. Alternatively, freeze in a bowl until almost solid. Beat well with an electric beater then freeze until solid.
  4. Store in a covered container in the deep freeze.

Serves 4-6.
