App alert for stroke

A stroke often affects a person's ability to speak, see and move, usually on one side of the body.

Singapore-based start-up Healint has come up with an alert that lets patients trigger the app on the phone, in the event of a stroke, by using one hand to contact their loved ones.

Called JustShakeIt, the app also works without the need to unlock the phone.

The Android app is available for download.
