CHINA - In a southwest province in China, a three-year-old boy got his left leg stuck after he slipped while using a squat toilet.
His parents called firefighters for help when they realised they could not free their trapped son.
The wailing toddler was wrapped in a towel and cradled in his mother's arms to calm him down.
Once he dozed off, his rescuers began to carefully chisel away at the squat toilet with a hammer and crowbar.
After thirty minutes, the boy's leg was successfully extracted and a medic immediately examined him for signs of injury.
Fortunately, the toddler was not hurt, just badly frightened by the incident.
