All-women police stations in Haryana soon

THE Haryana government in Chandigarh announced the introduction of all-women police stations across the state by Aug 29.

Chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar told The Times of India that a special force of 500 women constabulary and non-gazetted officers would be recruited.

He also added that about 5,000 police posts would be filled up this year and Harsamay, a 24-hour portal of the Haryana police, has been started for the public to lodge their complaints online.
