Boy, 5, turns to binge eating after quitting ciggies
In this 2009 photo, two-year-old Ardi Rizal is shown smoking a cigarette.

Ardi Rizal, the Indonesian boy who caught world attention in 2011 for smoking 40 cigarettes a day at the age of two, has dropped the deadly habit for another pastime - binge eating.

Nanyang Siang Pau reported that the five-year-old quit smoking with the help of a government agency.

The report said he now drank three bottles of milk a day along with other meals.

If he was not fed enough, he would hit his head against the wall until his parents gave in - the same "tactic" he used earlier when they refused to give him cigarettes.
