PHNOM PENH - A video posted by Islamic militants in Iraq says Australia, Bangladesh, Britain and Cambodia are among sources of their recruits, according to British and US news reports.
The Independent newspaper in London said the film posted by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS) on Thursday showed five men claiming to be British and Australian.
"One apparently British fighter, speaking with an educated English accent and named as 'Abu Muthanna al Yemeni - from Britain', named Bangladesh, Cambodia, Australia and the UK as sources for ISIS recruits," the newspaper said.
US television broadcaster NBC News quoted Yemeni as saying: "We have brothers from Bangladesh, from Iraq, from Cambodia, Australia, UK."
YouTube says the video has been removed as a violation of the company's policy on violence.
