Caretaker Cabinet can continue duty until new govt formed: Thai court

The Constitutional Court ruled Wednesday the caretaker Cabinet can continue its duty until the new Cabinet takes office.

The court ruled that only caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinwatra and nine other Cabinet members who took part in Thawil Pliensri's transfer must be removed from the Cabinet.

The rest of Cabinet members, who were not members of the Yingluck Cabinet that approved Thawil's transfer, can remain their office as caretaker Cabinet members.
