Caught on camera: Chinese tourists bulldoze through queue at airport

A video of a Thai celebrity ranting about the unruly behavior of Chinese tourists at a South Korean airport has sparked furious online condemnation.

The two-minute video, which was filmed at Jeju International Airport, shows Thai celebrity Duangjai Phichitamphon complaining about the Chinese tourists not following the queue at the airport's tax refund counter, reported Shanghaiist.

In the video, a throng of Chinese can be seen scrambling in front of the counter.

Ms Phichitamphon said that other passengers had been queuing in an orderly fashion before the Chinese group turned up, and claims that the Chinese tourists had pushed her around, stepped on her feet and pulled her hair.

She quips that when she said "san queue" (cutting the queue in Thai), a man turned around and smiled at her because he thought that she had said "thank you".

She also complains about the state of hygiene at the airport's toilets, and implies that the Chinese were the main culprits responsible for dirtying them.

The video was first posted on Ms Phichitamphon's Facebook page last week, and has appeared in several newspapers in Thailand.

It has since been viewed over 776,000 times, after another Facebook user added subtitles in English and Mandarin and re-posted the video.
