Caught on camera: Driver in road rage pounds, kicks car behind

A video has appeared on social media showing a road rage incident in Bangkok, in which a driver stopped his car in the middle of the road to vandalise another car behind.

The video, which was filmed by a female passenger inside the second car, shows a Toyota Camry overtaking the car on the driver's side, before coming to an abrupt stop in the middle of a busy road.

The driver of the Camry then steps out of his car and walks over angrily to the car behind, a Honda, and tries to open the car door to start a fight with the other driver.

He then repeatedly pounds, hits and kicks the other car.

According to Bangkok Post, the incident occurred after the Honda's driver had refused to give way to the aggressor on the road.

The aggressor's abrupt stop also caused two cars behind the incident to crash into each other.

The footage also shows that the attacker may have been hiding a gun under his shirt, Coconuts Bangkok reported.

The video has already garnered over 80,000 views it was posted on Facebook on Apr 21.

According to reports, the road rage victims and the two drivers who crashed had lodged a police report over the incident.
