Thai superstar Chamuaktong Fightermuaythai showcased his stellar striking skills in his ONE Super Series debut at ONE: REIGN OF KINGS.

The Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion claimed the 145th win of his glittering striking career with a victory over two-time European kickboxing champion Brown Pinas on the preliminary card in Manila, the Philippines.

The duo faced off in a Muay Thai catch weight contest, with the Thai star holding the edge over the Dutch contender to pick up the unanimous decision victory at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Pinas started aggressively, looking to push back the Thai veteran, and caught the eye when he connected with a beautiful leg sweep to send his 29-year-old opponent to the canvas.

That seemed to spark Chamuaktong into life, and the Thai started to find his mark with kicks from both sides.

In the second round, Chamuaktong turned up the pressure, working feverishly from the clinch and landing some punishing knees that clearly took their toll on the Dutchman.

The experience of 179 prior Muay Thai contests was evident as Chamuaktong took control of the contest, forcing Pinas backwards and emptying his gas tank with a vicious body attack.

He also connected with powerful short elbows to the head from close range.

After finding himself on the receiving end of a three-minute barrage in the second round, Pinas looked to push forward in the third, but he came up against strong resistance from Chamuaktong, who looked to maintain his momentum.

It produced the best round of the contest, as both men pushed the pace in an attempt to secure a stoppage, or at least impress the judges to earn their favour for the decisive closing three minutes.

When the verdict came, it was Chamuaktong whose hand was raised after getting the nod from all three cageside judges.

The win takes Chamuaktong’s incredible Muay Thai record to 145-34-1 as the Lumpinee and Rajadamnern Stadium champion showed the world why he holds two of the most prestigious titles in the sport.
