Since it was launched in December 2013, the "Home Love" photography competition organised by the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries has attracted 10,000 participants from 300 primary and secondary schools nationwide.

The winners of the second competition were recently announced and the prize-winning photos exhibited in Beijing.

Two of the winners,Yuan Hongmei and Yuan Weifu come from a hope school, which is a public service project for poor regions, in Longchuan county, Guangdong province.

The 10 gold, 10 silver and 30 bronze prize-winning photos will also be exhibited in Geneva, Switzerland later this year.
