China's Central Military Commission promoted four senior military officers to the rank of general, the highest achievable rank, reported Xinhus news agency on Friday.
The four are Qi Jianguo, Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), Wang Jiaocheng, Commander of the Shenyang Military Area Command, Chu Yimin, Political Commissar of the Shenyang Military Area Command and Wei Liang, Political Commissar of the Guangzhou Military Area Command.
