Chinese woman flaunts cash she used on World Cup bets

Another wealthy woman from China is making waves online after posting photos of herself reclining on her bed with stacks of cash that she used to bet on World Cup matches.

The photos show bundles of 100 yuan notes arranged in formations she predicted to be the final scores of various World Cup matches.

According to her posts on micro-blogging site Weibo, she has not had much luck with her World Cup bets. Screen captures of the bets she placed using her mobile phone show that her highest bet amounted to 40,000 yuan (S$8,030).

Chinese netizens have expressed their distaste for the ostentatious display of wealth.

Other photos on her Weibo account show her flaunting a wealthy lifestyle, as she is seen posing in various parts of her large house and driving expensive cars.
