Couple brawl with sisters in China over 'movie narration'

Unhappy that their movie experience was disturbed by a pair of sisters narrating the movie to children, a couple in Guangxi province's Nanning city, China, ended up in a brawl with the two sisters after the movie.

The couple apparently called the sisters "ill-bred" during the movie, Lianhe Wanbao reported. One of the sisters countered with an insult of her own after the movie, and the argument ascended into a brawl.

According to the report, the incident happened on Monday.

The sisters were at the cinema with two children watching Rio 2. As the children didn't fully understand the movie, the sisters were explaining the plot to them.

But the couple seated next to them complained that they were too loud and called the sisters "ill-bred".

After the movie, just as the couple was leaving, they overheard one of the sisters insulting them.

CCTV footage showed the couple assaulting the sisters, causing one of them to fall on the floor. The wife continued to attack the woman who was on the floor. The sisters fought back in the video.

The two children looked on helplessly.

After the fight, both sides demanded compensation. The couple wanted the sisters to pay for a branded bag, worth 30,000 yuan (S$6,000), damaged in the fight. The sisters demanded compensation for medical attention. Both parties went away without getting any compensation.

A video report mentioned that both parties left the mall in BMW cars.
