The Jakarta Police will next week summon for questioning a babysitter accused of assaulting a 14-month-old infant at an in-house daycare centre at an office of state-owned oil and gas enterprise PT Pertamina in Gambir, Central Jakarta.
"We will call her in as a suspect next week. The exact day will be confirmed later," Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto told reporters on Wednesday.
The case first came to light when the mother of the victim filed a report on the babysitter at the Central Jakarta Police station on Sept 2 when she noticed a mark on her son's cheek after she picked him up from the daycare centre.
