BELAIT - A Chinese man driving a car was allegedly beaten up last Sunday for overtaking a convoy of bikers when driving along Jln Labi Lama.

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) who are currently investigating the case confirmed yesterday that the 30-year-old complainant was driving his car from Labi to Seria between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday when the incident took place.

According to the police, the complainant said that he first overtook a group of bikers, before a car overtook him and the driver of the vehicle told him to get out of his vehicle.

The 30-year-old was then punched, with the other bikers also joining in the assault.

The convoy then left the complainant on the road.

Later that day, after visiting the hospital, the complainant lodged a police report with the Seria police station.
