Grief-stricken man seen on bus wearing late wife's underwear

A man in China is making waves online after he was caught on video apparently wearing his late wife's underwear on a public bus.

According to Shanghaiist, the man wore a red bra, high heels as well as women's tights.

He even had two apples inserted into the bra.

The man wears his late wife's clothing as a way to feel closer to her, said his friends.

Residents living in the area said he is commonly seen doing this in public.

"We hope that professional mental counselors can help him," the bus driver said in a video report.

Netizens have dubbed him "Uncle Bra" and "Uncle Apple". But they have also expressed sympathy given the circumstances surrounding his actions.

Said a user: "Their love is too deep. He can't endure her sudden passing and became like this".
