In this file photo taken on March 11, 2015, French drug trafficker and death row prisoner Serge Atlaoui (C) is escorted by armed Indonesian elite police commandos following a court hearing in Tangerang in a suburb of Jakarta where Atlaoui filed a judicial review against his death sentence.

JAKARTA - Indonesia has given nine drug convicts, including eight foreigners, official notification that they will be executed, a spokesman for the attorney-general's office said Saturday.

"Today, just now, we just finished notifying every convict, nine people except for Serge," Tony Spontana told AFP, adding it would be at least three days until the death sentences are carried out.

Frenchman Serge Atlaoui, who is also on death row but has a legal appeal outstanding, won a delay.
