Man killed by chair thrown from building in Hong Kong

A 29-year-old man in Hong Kong was tragically killed after being hit right on the head by a chair someone had thrown down a building.

According to online news reports, the man had been walking along Sai Yeung Choi Street with his two friends in the wee hours of Jun 10.

An office chair crashed down on him out of nowhere, knocking him unconscious and lying in a pool of his own blood.

He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

A 22-year-old man was arrested by the police, who found him on a nearby rooftop surrounded by empty beer cans and discarded furniture. He has admitted responsibility for the accident.
