MALAYSIA - Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that a 30-year-old man put his two children up for "sale" as a way to force his wife to return home in Guangdong, China.
The paper said Lee Ge Fei placed his two-year-old daughter and three-year-old son on a trishaw along with a signboard saying the two children were for sale.
Lee admitted that what he did was shocking, but said it was his way to force his wife, who had run away from home earlier, to return.
Lee said he married his wife after divorcing his first wife five years ago. Lee had three children from his first marriage.
Lee also claimed he might sell his two-year-old daughter to pay for his eldest son's school fees when he entered school.
