QINGHAI, China - A 64-YEAR-OLD man from Qinghai is looking for his son, who has avoided him for 14 years, the China Press reported.
According to the Xinhua News Agency, Chen Bang Shun's son stayed away from him after the media reported that the 64-year-old had sold his blood several times to pay for his son's university fees.
Feeling embarrassed over the media reports, the son changed his name and moved elsewhere in 2001.
Mr Chen has been looking for his son for the past 14 years as he wanted to apologise for the incident.
He also hoped to leave his savings for his grandchild's education.
