KUALA LUMPUR: Police have recorded a statement from a man who accused the Prime Minister and his wife of multiple murders on social media.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said police were investigating the case under the Sedition Act.

"People should not post irresponsible things on social media as it can cause unrest," he said after closing the Police Karate Cup championship 2015 at the National Sports Council complex here yesterday.

Khalid had tweeted about the man on Wednesday and ordered for his arrest.
