PETALING JAYA - Malaysia Airlines cancelled its three flights to Denpasar, Indonesia on Sunday due to the closure of Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali over Mt. Raung's volcanic ash.
It said it will accommodate affected passengers who wish to defer or cancel their travels.
"They will also be given the option to reroute their travels to Jakarta on Malaysia Airlines subject to seat availability," MAS said in a travel advisory issued on Sunday.
MAS is closely monitoring the situation and will provide regular updates on its operations.
"Safety remains of utmost importance to Malaysia Airlines and the airline will resume its flights once conditions have improved," it added.
