Myanmar hotels ready to accommodate local and foreign media

NAY PYI TAW, Myanmar - Government is ready to provide 260 hotel rooms for local and foreign media for accommodation during SEA Games, according to sources from a press conference made by Ministry of Information on December 6.

Myint Mo Nan Hotel, Hotel Apple, Famous Parami Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw Hein Hotel, Hotel Shwe Gone Tine and Pearl Thiri Hotel will provide rooms for the local and foreign media.

Win Kyi, Director from Ministry of Information said, "We have assigned six hotels for the media. They can stay the hotels with ID cards issued for SEA Games."

Myint Mo Nan Hotel can accommodate 80 rooms and Hotel Apple 45 rooms, Famous Parami Hotel 45 rooms, Nay Pyi Taw Hein Hotel 30 rooms, Hotel Shwe Gone Tine 30 rooms and Pearl Thiri Hotel 30 rooms for each respectively.

The ministry of hotel and tourism has arranged to fix price as US$55 (S$68.77) for two guests per room. The guest house of City Development Council will also be available for the media if the rooms provided by hotels are not enough.
