CHINA - Amused onlookers watching as police on Thursday inspected a car covered with vegetation, in Chengdu, Sichuan province, in China.
It had been left there for more than a year and was eventually claimed by plant life.
Its original owner, Mr Wang Ping, who was tracked down via the car's licence plate, told the authorities that he had sold the vehicle three years ago, NBC News reported.
He has long discarded any information he had on the buyer.
The car was eventually towed away after police were unable to remove the thick vines that had consumed it.
