Protesters agree to leave Thai Foreign Ministry

The anti-government protesters who occupied a space in Foreign Ministry's compound on Si Ayutthaya Road since last night agreed on Tuesday to move out following a meeting between protest leader and the ministry's senior officials.

The protesters were seen packing their belongings but their next destination is unknown.

The move followed a meeting between senior ministry officials and protest leader Nithithorn Lamleua. Some 300 protesters entered the compound last night with unclear demand, only demanding the ministry to stop operation.

The ministry instructed the officials to work out outside since last night.
