Have you been thinking about going to Universal Studios Japan (USJ) at Osaka but the Harry Potter attraction may not be incentive enough for you?
Well, USJ just released a video on their YouTube channel teasing an entirely new attraction called Super Nintendo World.
According to Forbes, the budget for the theme park was expected to be around 50 billion yen (S$627 million) but has since been upped to $60 billion yen.
In the video, we get to see Nintendo's iconic cheery plumber, Mario, as he jumps around various attractions.
Images on what probably are the first few structures of the Super Nintendo World have also appeared on Twitter.
I have personally been to USJ before in 2014 and while it is physically larger than the one we have in Singapore, their rides are generally much older.
So, it is refreshing to see that there are efforts to keep the park exciting and fresh.
Don't be in a hurry to book the next flight to Osaka though, as Super Nintendo World is going to be completed around the same time as Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
