Thai King and Queen donate $400,000 for Nepal earthquake victims

Their Majesties the King and the Queen have donated Bt10 million (S$400,000) via the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation for the delivery of help to victims of Nepal's earthquake.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-ocha has been instructed to handle the delivery.

Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya, meanwhile, has given Bt600,000 (S$24,00) to the government for the same purpose.

The 7.8-magnitude quake, which struck Nepal on Saturday, has caused more than 5,000 deaths and shaken the lives of many more.
