Obese teenagers are getting bullied in school. They attract stares and harsh remarks, which affect their self-esteem. Teens are sensitive about their weight and looks. Obesity and depression are closely linked. Imagine being bullied and made a laughing stock almost every day in school. Wouldn't you be depressed and dread going to school?
So how can we help these teens? The easiest way is to be their good friend and give them moral support. These teens need someone who can look beyond their physical appearance and appreciate them for who they are.
