Woman distracted with phone hit, crushed by two trucks

A young woman was killed while crossing a road in Zhongshan, Guangdong province, China after being hit by two trucks.

Video footage of the incident last week shows that the victim had been using her mobile phone as she crossed the busy road.

Known only as Ms Mo, she was hit by a lorry outside a department store, reported AsianTown.

She was initially knocked down by one truck, but then was crushed by another that came from opposite direction.

Police released the harrowing footage and images of the accident to warn pedestrians about the danger of using mobile phones when crossing roads.
