Woman in HK public sex video pleads guilty: Report

A mainland Chinese woman caught on camera having sex with a man on a Hong Kong street has pleaded guilty to committing an act outraging public decency, Apple Daily reported.

The duo were filmed near a bus stop along Fat Kwong Street at around 4am on April 1, and the footage starting going viral on social media the next day.

Both defendants had initially pleaded not guilty when they appeared in court on Thursday morning. But the accused female, 18-year-old Wu Xinyi, returned to the court more than two hours later to enter a guilty plea.

She is currently on bail under conditions, and her case has been adjourned to July 8 for sentencing.

Her male partner in the video, 18-year-old Yang Hao, also a mainland Chinese, has had his case suspended until August 13, according to Apple Daily. He is also on bail under conditions.
