What is “GreenField 06”? - Witness the transformation of the Atrium@Orchard into a captivating and interactive Creative City, showcasing the best in Singapore’s creativity and innovation through compelling displays, inspiring workshops and riveting stage performances. Mix and mingle in the open houses and networking platforms lined up to find that spark of creativity you have been searching for, or simply draw inspiration from others present.
All participating organisations at GreenField 06 are drawn from the portfolio of successful projects supported by Creative Community Singapore (CCS), a key initiative by the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA).
Why “GreenField”? - The term “GreenField” signifies the untapped latent creative potential and new opportunities in Creative Industries, and is perfectly aligned to CCS’s aim to empower individuals, teams and organisations to initiate cutting edge projects that will unleash the latent creativity within individuals and the community in Singapore. Since its launch on 24 July 2005, CCS has received over 220 idea submissions and supported 35 creative projects so far.
