Alan Kelsey Steps down as Chairman of Board of Directors for Nord Anglia Education

HONG KONG, Oct. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- After 14 successful years serving on Nord Anglia Education's Board of Directors, Alan Kelsey has left his post as Chairman of the Board.

Alan's contributions to the success of Nord Anglia Education have helped the world's leading premium schools organisation to develop from just a handful of schools over a decade ago to 46 schools and growing. During his tenure as Chairman of the Board, Nord Anglia Education expanded into new regions including North America, the Middle East and Southeast Asia while strengthening its presence in Europe and China.

Alan joined Nord Anglia Education's Board of Directors in November 2003 and subsequently took on the role of Chairman of the Board in January 2005. During his time on the Board, Alan served on Nord Anglia's Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, Nominating Committee and Corporate Governance Committee.

Following Nord Anglia Education's take private transaction on 1 September, a new Board of Directors was appointed. The Board will be comprised of representatives from Nord Anglia Education management, Baring Private Equity Asia and CPPIB.
