Boss in China gives 9 lucky employees a Maserati each

A boss in China's Zhejiang province has rewarded Maserati Ghiblis to his salesmen, according to the Chinese media.

The boss, whose surname is Ni, had bought 10 of the luxury cars, reported the People's Daily.

After setting aside one as a prize for a lucky draw at a company party, he gave the other nine to nine of his lucky employees.

The 10 cars, which are identical except for their colour, cost Mr Ni about 8 million yuan (S$1.75 million) in total, the paper reported.

The suggested retail price for one of them is 898,000 yuan, a manufacturer told the People's Daily.

Mr Ni's family has been running the business in Xiangshan for over 30 years.
