FOX+ upgrades viewing experience by extending its service to the big screen
SINGAPORE, Sept. 15, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- FOX+ viewers in the Philippines and Singapore will have the option to stream their favourite content onto the big screen through the FOX+ app on Android TV. The service, which is currently available on iOS and Android devices, will provide FOX+ viewers with more exciting viewing options in full HD on their TV screens.
Specifically designed for the big screen, this new service allows seamless navigation through the Android TV's remote control without the need for a mobile device. Navigation experience is further enhanced with a programming guide on the Live TV section with information on what is currently on, and what is upcoming for live sports and movies. FOX+ viewers can also continue watching their favourite content on the Android TV from where they've left off, even on their computers or mobile devices.
"Since its launch in both the Philippines and Singapore earlier this year, FOX+ has cemented itself as a game-changing platform for entertainment lovers who want to see great content first. The move to Android TV is just the start of FOX+'s commitment to the OTT space and the first of its upcoming value added upgrades," said Prakash Ramchandani, Senior Vice President of SVOD Digital.
FOX+ viewers in the Philippines and Singapore can download the app by accessing the Google Play store under the Media Apps section on their Android TV. Logging in is made easy through a one-time QR code scan on the FOX+ app with their mobile devices. Once set up, FOX+ viewers can start watching their favourite shows on the big screen and switch between their mobile devices and computers from anytime and anyplace.
