Halla Group Donates USD100,000 in Aid for Earthquake in Indonesia

SEOUL, South Korea, Oct. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Halla Group (CEO Chung Mong-won) announced on October 11 that it has delivered USD100,000 in relief aid to Indonesia, which recently suffered great damages after the earthquake and tsunami.

This relief donation was sourced by Mando, a Halla Group automobile parts company, and Halla, a construction affiliate. The money will be used for restoring damages and providing relief supplies to those affected by the Indonesian earthquake.

An official at Halla Group expressed condolences to the Indonesian people who have suffered a great damage due to the natural disaster and elaborated that the company will provide financial and physical aid to help victims in the country. 

Halla Group has been maintaining a close cooperative relationship with Indonesian companies for a long time. Mando Jakarta is engaged in automobile parts market as well as after-sales market in Indonesia, and Halla has participated in the construction of a local road in East Kalimantan, making contributions to develop the local communities in the country.
