SEOUL, South Korea, May 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- From May 17-20, with the support and sponsorship of Heaven Springs Dynasty Harvest Group, the 23th Chun Sa Film Festival was held. The awards ceremony, premiere ceremony, opening dinner and Film Forum were held successfully. The Father of Atmospheric Water Generation and Founding Steering Committee Member of the UN Science-Policy-Business Forum on Environment, Dato' Sri Prof. Ng, Tat-yung, attended the event as an officiating guest and presented the Popular Actor Award to Korean Film Star Oh Dae-hwan together with Korean Top Actress Bae Seul-Ki.

On May 18, the Chun Sa Film Festival Awards Ceremony was broadcasted live on the four major TV stations in South Korea. It gathered hundreds of South Korean top directors and actors from South Korea, China, Japan, India, Malaysia and other countries with thousands of participants at COEX in Seoul. Heaven Springs Dynasty Harvest Group, as the official partner and official drinking water provider for the event, was unanimously recognized and welcomed by guests from all walks of life. Director of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Chairman of the Korea Motion Picture Director's Association and Famous Actors and Actresses like Jung Woo-sung, Yang Dong-geun, Park Gyuri, Nana, Kim Ok-bin, and Kim Dong-wook attended the event.

During the reception dinner of Chun Sa Film Festival, Dato'Sri Prof. Ng, Tat-yung delivered his contributions to the successful event and his hope that the Korea Motion Picture Directors Association could promote the China-Korea culture exchange on film to enhance the mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples.
Meanwhile, the group was invited by the Korean Ministry of Culture and the Korea Motion Picture Directors Association to launch a large-scale commemorative event for the 2019 Centennial Commemoration.
The Chun Sa Film Award is a non-profit movie awarding ceremony which was named after the nickname of an early Korean movie pioneer Luo Yunkui, who was an active actor and director of the Korean peninsula in the 1920s and 1930s.
