IRAS board gets new chairman

SINGAPORE - Incoming Permanent Secretary (Finance) Mrs Tan Ching Yee has been appointed as the chairman of the board of Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS Board) from May 1.

Mrs Tan, 51, has been Permanent Secretary (Health) since 2012.

She succeeds Mr Peter Ong Boon Kwee who has been the Board Chairman of IRAS Board since Oct 1, 2009.

Mr Ong will take on a new role as Permanent Secretary (Prime Minister's Office) (Strategy) concurrently with his appointment as Head of Civil Service.
