According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in Korea, exporting fresh poultry products such as Korean chickens to Hong Kong has become possible after October 30th and to Vietnam after November 3rd. Eggboard, the Committee for the Management of Eggs in South Korea plays particularly large role in relation to this export. Officials from Eggboard and the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs said "We will do our best to support on-site quarantine and clearance to export safer and higher quality chickens to Vietnam and Hong Kong."

Korean eggs that are currently on the market are eggs that have passed through a safety inspection conducted twice on farms and distribution courses, so they can be eaten safely and harmless to the human body. On the 12th of last month, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) in Hong Kong approved the export of 96,000 eggs to Hong Kong, proving the safety of Korean eggs.

Egg laying chickens for export to Vietnam and Hong Kong are about two years old. Tae-Kyun Park, a professor of food engineering at Korea University, said, "Considering that the natural lifespan of a chicken is 20 to 30 years, Korean chickens exported to Vietnam and Hong Kong are still young chickens. The meat of egg laying chickens is chewy and tastes good," he explained.

Egg is the highest protein, and it contributes to muscle growth. At the same time, Vitamin D in egg yolk helps calcium absorption and plays a positive role in bone growth.

In addition, choline in the yolk of eggs in the brain of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine secretion is activated by helping to improve memory. Richard Wattman, a professor and brain scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States, said that Colin promotes chemical activity in the brain and is associated with memory and learning skills.
