Turkey on track to reach 4% growth this year: Finance Minister

ISTANBUL - Turkey should easily achieve the government's target of 4 per cent economic growth this year, with lower inflation allowing greater flexibility in monetary policy to support the expansion, Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek said on Monday.

Business leaders and economists expect Turkish gross domestic product (GDP) to grow 4.2 per cent by the end of the year, according to the central bank's latest monthly survey announced on Friday.
