A  woman who ordered fruits online through Ele.me app in Beijing, China, wrote on Weibo that the deliveryman had introduced himself as the food delivery platform's chief executive officer, China Press reported.

She teased the man, saying that if he was Ele.me CEO Wang Lei, then she was (Alibaba founder and executive chairman) Jack Ma.

Her husband then did a search on the Internet and discovered that the man was indeed who he claimed to be.

After she shared the story online, the official account of Ele.me left a comment on her post, saying that Wang Lei decided to give delivery a try as he believed that a good superior must understand the hardship of the delivery crew.

Alibaba Group acquired Ele.me in April this year.
