Driver climbs out unscathed after massive crane falls on his car

A huge crane fell onto an Audi in Zhuhai, China, on Oct 17, while the driver was still in the car.
In a video of the shocking incident posted on Shanghaiist, the massive construction equipment can be seen falling onto the windscreen of the car that was by the side of the road.
The driver, however, somehow cheated death by coming out of the accident with nothing more than a fractured ankle.
Several seconds after his car was crushed, he can be seen peering out of his vehicle.

He even managed to pull himself out of his car, or more specifically, what remained of it.
The lucky Audi driver was then taken to hospital to receive treatment.
It is unclear what caused the crane to fall over.
