KUALA LUMPUR - The house belonging to Home Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's daughter was robbed by her former driver yesterday.
Police reported that Nurul Hidayah Ahmad Zahid's former driver had allegedly entered her home in Country Heights using a key he had kept from his employer.
The suspect is believed to have rummaged through the house before making off with two watches and RM1,000 (S$385) in cash.
Kajang OCPD ACP Abdul Rashid Abdul Wahab confirmed the incident and that Nurul Hidayah had lodged a report on the matter but declined to disclose further details of the case.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Zahid also confirmed the break-in but said no one was hurt and only "a few things" were taken from the home.
