There are many reasons why internet users have been making the switch to Google Chrome - one of which is its vast Chrome Web Store, which allows users to add all kinds of useful (and sometimes useless) extensions.

These extensions, as the name suggests, extends the functionality of Chrome to make it easier and more convenient when surfing the internet.

It therefore comes as no surprise that Google Chrome has been edging its rivals in the browser wars, with a domineering 45 per cent worldwide usage share as of July 2014, according to web traffic analysis tool StatCounter.
