Apple is said to be bringing the mini-LED display to the 11-inch iPad Pro next year.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro will come with a mini-LED display in 2022. At the moment, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021) is the only model in the lineup to have the new display technology.

Kuo says Apple is working with more mini-LED display suppliers to bring down the cost of the components and bring the display technology to more products. Kuo reported last year that Apple is accelerating the adoption of mini-LED displays in iPads and MacBooks.

However, there are rumours that Apple plans to introduce OLED iPad models over the next two years. A 10.9-inch iPad model is said to be in the pipeline.

ETNews claimed last month that Apple is ditching LCD for OLED in some iPad models from 2022. TheElec wrote that the first OLED iPad will launch in 2022 and two other OLED models will arrive in 2023.
