Batman: Arkham Knight pulled from PC due to performance issues

If you bought the latest game in the Batman franchise during the Steam Summer Sale, you might have noticed less-than stellar performance in game and overwhelmingly negative user reviews that have garnered it a "Mostly Negative" rating on Steam.

Well, it seems Warner Brother Games agrees.

WB Games has now announced that it is pulling Batman: Arkham Knight for Windows due to numerous performance issues and missing high-quality textures and effects.

Sales of the PC version will be suspended as WB Games works with its development teams, NVIDIA and AMD to address the issues flagged by gamers.

The publisher said it was also continuously monitoring all threads posted in the Offical Batman: Arkham Knight Community and Steam forums, in addition to all issues logged with its Customer Support site.

If you're a seriously disgruntled customer and purchased the game through Steam, WB Games will allow you to request a refund here.

But if you want to try to work through the issues yourself, you can refer to an update on the official Community forums with recommended hardware specifications and settings to achieve a playable experience.
