If one lightsaber was tons of fun for you, how about two?

At The Game Awards today (Dec 9), a new trailer featuring gameplay of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order — was revealed.

And it looks like Cal now has not one, but two lightsabers to slice and dice enemies with.

Although he was capable of dual-wielding in Fallen Order, options around it were fairly limited and dual-wielded lightsabers only appeared in specific movesets.

With how the trailer features Cal whipping out a second lightsaber to take on an enemy and also deflecting shots with two lightsabers, it seems to hint at a greater flexibility of choice when it comes to the iconic weapon of the Star Wars universe.

But that's not all as it seems that Cal's experience with escaping the forces of the Empire and dealing with the iconic Darth Vader — as much as he could — has earned him some skills, five years after the events of Fallen Order.

The trailer also showed the Jedi Padawan-turned-Knight wielding his lightsabers in multiple ways, including holding it in a reverse grip that opens up possibilities for more combos and moves.

Moreover, he is also shown inspecting a lightsaber with a crossguard, bearing similarity to Kylo Ren's, which begs the question: Will there be more options for unique lightsaber types?

Speaking of options and choices, it appears Cal has also opted for something a little different. Lightsabers aside, Cal seems to have decided to drop his boyish looks for a rugged beard, giving off a slightly more mature atmosphere.

And while his face may still be familiar to fans, there are many more faces around him that aren't — it appears that his crew in Fallen Order is no longer travelling with him in this sequel, although Cere does make an appearance in the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is expected to release on March 17, 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, Playstation 5 and PC.
