Fortnite players get drippy with Air Jordan sneakers in a special collab with Nike

Fortnite gets into the hypebeast game — Nike’s latest sneaker drop is totally virtual. Epic Games teamed up with the iconic sportswear and athleisure brand to present a limited-time event called “Fortnite x Jordan”. 

For 1,800 V-Bucks (a little less than S$20 in Fortnite’s in-game currency), players can get the new Hang Time Bundle, which includes two special red-and-black cosmetic outfits, emotes, as well as Air Jordan sneakers. Colours of the skins can be changed through unlocking variants after completing special challenges.

To really hammer home the street culture, there’s even a new game mode called "Downtown Drop by Jordan" which has players literally Jumpman-ing around a map to gather coins and other collectables. 

The skins and gear can be brought over to Battle Royale mode too, so you can gun down other players while sporting fresh kicks. Alternatively, just round up a couple of friends and shoot some virtual hoops in virtual Air Jordans.

According to data miners, the limited-time event will end on June 3, so you’ve got about a little more than a week to cop the collectables.
