BattleHack, a global hackathon organised by e-payments company PayPal and its subsidiary, Braintree, will come to Singapore this year.

The event challenges developers to create apps which benefit the community while also incorporating a payment or donation feature that uses PayPal or Braintree.

BattleHack is open to 14 regions, including Singapore. Finalists will compete at PayPal's headquarters in Silicon Valley for the grand prize of US$100,000 (S$124,000).

The event here will be held on Sept 13 and 14. To register, go to https://2014.battlehack.org/.
