SINGAPORE - HWM and HardwareZone.com today presented a total of 77 awards in recognition of the tech industry's best at the 8th HWM+HardwareZone.com Tech Awards 2017 ceremony held at the picturesque Hotel Fort Canning Grand Marquee.
Top technology brands in Singapore with the most consumer mindshare by popular vote took home a total of 44 Readers' Choice awards, while 33 Editor's Choice awards, inclusive of four coveted Innovation awards, were given to the best performing products and most impactful technology innovations of the year.
PC gaming and components giant, ASUS, emerged as the biggest winner with a total of eight awards - five Readers' Choice and three Editor's Choice.
Apple dominated the mobile and smartwatch categories, bagging a total of six awards including Editor's Choice Best Mobile Chip, Best Premium Smartphone and Best Smartwatch, while first time winner Corsair managed to snatch the Readers' Choice Best PC Memory Brand award away from stalwarts Kingston.
The second year of collaboration with GameAxis.com also saw an expansion of video gaming awards with new Editor's Choice category nominations for Best Xbox One Game, and Best PlayStation 4 Game, plus the return of the Best Gaming Console award.
